Slideshow image Do you want to go backstage? Opened in 1974, Barrymore’s has become one of the staples of downtown nightlife. It was originally the back stage area of the theatre where the Rococo is now located. The light board and curtain pulleys are still attractions to this day. With the entrance located in the alleyway between O and P streets, it is a quaint out the way place for dates, after work meetings or just a fun night out. Barrymore’s specializes in martinis and cocktails, however also boasts a great beer selection. So stop in to enjoy the cocktails, the atmosphere and a piece of downtown history.

Why is an upcoming show not on your schedule?

We do not post upcoming shows until we have a ticket on-sale date.

What facility fees are added to the ticket price?

We charge a $3.00 facility fee with all ticket purchases.

My ticket says DF-GA.  Where is my seat?

Tickets marked DF (Dance Floor) are standing only on the dance floor.  There is no seat associated with this; you must stand for the entirety of the show.

My ticket says BALC-GA.  Where is my seat?

Tickets marked BALC (Balcony) don’t have assigned seats with them.  You are welcome to sit anywhere you like on the Balcony Level.  Please note that the Loge Level is not part of the Balcony and is reserved seating only.

How is General Admission handled?

General Admission is strictly on a first-come, first-served basis.  If you move from your spot before or during the show, you may lose it.

What is the dress code of the theatre?

There is no dress code. For more sophisticated shows, such as a jazz ensemble, it is appropriate to dress a little more formal. If you have questions, please don't hesitate to call us.

Our friend is at a different table; can we add a chair to our table?

No. For safety all tables and chairs must stay where they are.

What do I do if an event is cancelled or postponed?

Please call our box office. Occasionally, a promoter or artist may cancel or postpone an event. If the situation merits, you will be issued a refund minus the $3.00 facility fee.

Where can I park my car?

The Rococo Theatre does not own or operate parking facilities, however,  a number of pay parking garages are located within walking distance from the theatre and there is always meter parking on the street.

Where are the restrooms?

Restrooms are located on all four levels of the theatre.  Handicapped accessible restrooms are located on the first level of the theatre.

What can I bring to the show?

Jackets, binoculars and other such items are typically allowed. Items that are always prohibited include:

  • Food and drink from the outside
  • Weapons of any type
  • Illegal items of any kind
  • Flashlights
  • Laser pointers
  • Cameras and recording devices
  If you are found to be in possession of any item prohibited you will be ejected from the building and will not receive a refund.
